Denmark Acquires Over 200 Hours Of ITV STUDIOS Global Entertainment Drama

ITV STUDIOS Global Entertainment announced today it has sold more than 200 hours of high-quality UK produced drama to DR Television, Denmark’s leading national broadcaster.
Featured in the deal are the hugely popular and highly acclaimed award-winning primetime ITV drama series’ Lewis, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Wycliffe, A Touch of Frost, Agatha Christie’s Marple and Agatha Christie’s Poirot, which is now watched in over 190 territories internationally.

The slate of drama acquired by DR Television includes some of the most-watched television names in the world today, including the revered murder-mystery works of Agatha Christie’s Poirot starring David Suchet, Agatha Christie’s Marple and Lewis. ITV Studio’s Lewis is the worldwide hit detective series starring Kevin Whately, which is broadcast in 100 territories, most recently being acquired by France 3 for primetime.
